Hegang starts building Laoting No.3 blast furnace
Hebei Iron & Steel (Hegang) has started construction of the No.3 blast furnace with a 3,000-cubic-metre inner volume at its Laoting (Leting) plant, according to the official website of China MCC17 Group. The designed capacity of this BF is 2 million tonnes/year of hot metal, Kallanish notes.
