Hegang Xuangang closes No.2 120-t converter
Hebei province's Zhangjiakou city government has announced that Hebei Iron & Steel Group’s Xuanhua Iron & Steel (Xuangang) has closed down its No.2 120-t converter in May. The move has cut its steel capacity by 1.4 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
