ESI rolls over rebar, high stocks concern traders
Emirates Steel has rolled over its rebar price from April at AED 2,735/tonne ($745) ex-mill on letter of credit 90 days for May rolling.
United Arab Emirates traders lost almost 15 working days in April due to the long Eid holiday and flood-related disruption, including road blockades, and construction sites and warehouses being covered with water.
Almost all mills, including the UAE benchmark mill, could deliver only 35-45% of rebar orders for April deliveries. …
