Exports lift Mechel’s ferroalloy sales

Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel’s Bratsk ferroalloy plant increased shipments in January-September, the company says. Volume amounted to 59,000 tonnes, up by 23% on- year, Kallanish notes.  Demand for both grades of ferrosilicon BZF with different silicon content increased, the enterprise claims.
