Higher refractory chrome ore prices lift Oman Chromite
Oman Chromite (OC) posted a -7% on-year decline in revenue in the nine months through September to OMR 1.39 million ($3.62m). However, net profit rose 16% to OMR 362,160 thanks to an improvement in refractory chrome ore prices in the global market, the firm says.
Nine-month refractory sales rose 17% to OMR 1.16m while lumpy chrome ore sales declined -54% to OMR 495,666.
