Hoa Phat hits 8.8mt of sales
Vietnam’s biggest steel manufacturer, Hoa Phat Group, has reported 8.8 million tonnes of steel sales in 2021, up 35% year-on-year. Monthly sales reached over 1mt for the first time in March, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
Construction steel and hot rolled coil were the main contributors to sales. In terms of output, construction steel recorded 3.9mt, up 14%, and HRC trebled on-year to 2.6mt, occupying 44% and 28% of total output respectively…
