Hoa Phat aligns HRC prices near Formosa’s levels
Vietnam’s Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel has set its January/February-2023 shipment domestic prices close to the level of the other local strip producer in Vietnam, Kallanish notes.
On 19 November, the company announced that prices for its non-skin-passed SS400/SAE 1006 HRC were set at the equivalent of $542/tonne cfr (VND 13,450/kg) Haiphong and at $545/t cfr Ho Chi Minh City.
