Hoa Phat exports wire rod to Europe
Vietnamese steelmaker Hoa Phat Group has just signed a contract to export 10,000 tonnes of wire rod to Europe, opening a new market for Hoa Phat's long products.
The steel products will be produced by Hoa Phat Group's subsidiary in Hung Yen Province, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel, under the ASTM standard, Kallanish notes. This will be wire rod used for drawing or making wire meshes. The estimated delivery time is in February 2023.
