Hoa Phat HRC sales set new record
Vietnam’s Hoa Phat Group says it sold around 296,000 tonnes of hot rolled coil in March, up from 240,000t in February and up some 25% year-on-year. The increase comes as the steelmaker has been running its Dung Quat plant at capacity, domestic demand has been firm and the mill has been pricing competitively, Kallanish notes.
