Hoa Phat orders iron ore from Laos
Vietnamese steelmaker Hoa Phat Group's Hoa Phat Hai Duong Joint Stock Company has signed an iron ore offtake agreement with Laos' Niksan (or Nixon) Mining Development Group in Vientiane, Laos.
The Lao mining company will supply Hoa Phat with 360,000 tonnes/year of iron ore for the next 14 years, Kallanish notes.
