Hoa Phat 2023 production, sales decrease
Vietnam’s largest steelmaker Hoa Phat Group has posted decreases in both production and sales in 2023 compared with a year earlier, but its December results improved significantly on the prior month, Kallanish learns.
December standalone crude steel production increased 4% over November to 648,000 tonnes. This boosted yearly output to 6.7 million t of crude steel, 10% lower year-on-year. Meanwhile the company says that its steel capacity is 8.5m t/year now.
