Exports, demand recovery boost Hoa Phat’s June sales
Hoa Phat's construction steel sales rose in June, benefiting from a 200% on-year recovery in southern Vietnam's steel demand and strong growth of 60% in exports.
Last month, Hoa Phat's supply of construction steel, billet and hot rolled coil totalled 560,000 tonnes, up 14% from the same period in 2021. Construction steel output reached 348,000t, up 51% year-on-year, but HRC production was 202,000t, down 12% y-o-y, Kallanish notes.
