Hoa Phat to expand prestressed steel capacity
Vietnam's Hoa Phat Group plans to double its prestressed steel (PC Bar and PC Strand) capacity through a new production line put into operation in late-September 2022.
The No.2 prestressed steel production line will be installed in the Prestressed Steel Factory at the Dung Quat Economic Zone in Quang Ngai, boosting the company's capacity from 300,000 tonnes/year to 600,000 t/y, Kallanish notes.
