Hoa Phat upgrades HRC mills
Vietnam's leading steel producer, Hoa Phat Group, has upgraded the hot-rolling lines at its Dung Quat plant to improve output and product quality.
The upgraded production lines allow the production of thinner products, and the thickness range has been expanded from 2mm-12mm to 1.2mm-12mm, Kallanish learns. Up to now, Hoa Phat can provide 12 different grades of HRC products, with an annual production capacity of 3 million tonnes/year.
