Hoa Phat’s annual sales shrink
Vietnam’s largest steelmaker Hoa Phat Group reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and the whole year of 2022 last week, suggesting a weaker quarter and difficult year.
In Q4, revenue was down 42% on-year at VND 26 trillion ($1.1 billion). The net loss meanwhile came to VND 2 trillion, expanding from a VND 1.17 trillion loss recorded in Q3, Kallanish notes.
