Hoa Phat’s construction steel exports exceed 1mt
Vietnamese steelmaker Hoa Phat saw a huge decrease in September output and sales, but sales volume of some products such as hot rolled coil and pipe still posted sizeable growth. Year-to-date construction steel exports also exceeded 1 million tonnes, according to a company release.
In September, Hoa Phat saw crude steel production of 540,000t, down 21.3% year-on-year. Nine-month combined production was down nearly 1% y-o-y at 6.04 million t.
