Hoa Phat's construction steel sales peak in September
Vietnam's leading steelmaker, Hoa Phat Group, saw lower crude steel output but higher finished steel sales last month.
The mill reported a month-on-month decline of 7% in crude steel output in September to 635,000 tonnes. Meanwhile, finished steel sales including construction steel, hot rolled coil and billet grew 7% m-o-m to 596,000t, including 234,000t of HRC sales.
