Hyundai bids much higher for Japanese scrap
Hyundai Steel has sharply raised its bid for Japanese scrap in its weekly purchase auction, Kallanish notes.
The leading South Korean electric arc furnace steelmaker raised its bid prices for Japanese scrap by a uniform JPY 7,000/tonne ($60/t) from its previous auction on 3 March.
