Icdas hikes domestic longs prices
Turkey's Icdas re-opened its domestic rebar sales with a TRY 190/tonne ($41.5/t) hike in the beginning of the current week, despite the sluggish demand at home, Kallanish notes.
The scrap-based long steelmaker offers its 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm rebar respectively at TRY 3,040/t ($664/t), TRY 3,050/t and TRY 3,060/t, effective 28 May. The move follows a rise of TRY 30/t in the middle of May.
