Icdas hikes rebar further on weak lira
Icdas has increased its rebar price for the domestic market by a further TRY 100/tonne ($18) after the Turkish lira weakened again against the dollar.
The Turkish steelmaker’s price for 8mm, 10mm and 12-32mm diameter rebar is now at TRY 2,905/tonne, TRY 2,885/t and 2,865/t ($511) respectively.
This follows a TRY 40/t hike last week due to the lira depreciation.
