Icdas raises domestic rebar prices
Turkey's Icdas has raised its domestic rebar prices by another TRY 30/tonne ($6.9/t) at the start of the week, reflecting the weak lira and sluggish domestic demand, notes Kallanish.
The scrap-based long steelmaker offers its 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm rebar respectively at TRY 2,850/t ($659/t), TRY 2,860/t and TRY 2,870/t, wth effect from 14 May. This follows a rise of TRY 30/t last week.
