IH2A calls for $5 billion India hydrogen fund
The India Hydrogen Alliance (IH2A) is calling on the Indian government to create a $5 billion fund to promote and enable large-scale hydrogen projects, Kallanish learns.
In a proposal submitted to India’s finance ministry, IH2A says a National Hydrogen Transition and Development Fund could focus on hydrogen hub development, hydrogen supply chains other than electrolyser manufacturing, sectoral hydrogen transition plans, and infrastructure development.
