Ilva to reduce output this week, but slightly
Ilva, the integrated Italian steelmaker, is set to reduce its crude steel output this week, albeit lightly, due to maintenance works at its converters, Kallanish learns from local sources.
The plant is set to operate at least until the end of this week with only one continuous casting and converter. This is due to the need to halt converter number 2 for maintenance and the ongoing works at converter number 1.
