ILVA to restart plate mill in June
Ilva has told its trade unions that the plate rolling mill at the Taranto site will resume operating at the beginning of June, following a shutdown for maintenance, Kallanish understands from local sources.
The mill was stopped at the end of April due to exceptional maintenance needed to find hazardous material at the site. The line will restart at the beginning of June following the resolution of this issue.
