Ilyich continues to increase steel, pig iron production
Metinvest’s Ilyich steelworks increased crude steel production in January-October, Kallanish notes.
Output amounted to 3.56 million tonnes, up by 6% on-year. Pig iron production increased by 5.9% to 4.2mt, while production of rolled products was more by 13.6% to 3.42mt.
In October alone, the plant produced about 360,000t of crude steel, 400,000t of pig iron and 380,000t of rolled products.
