Ilyich ramps up steel, pig iron production
Metinvest’s Ilyich steelworks increased crude steel production in January-November, Kallanish notes.
Output amounted to 3.9 million tonnes, up by 5.5% on-year. Pig iron production increased by 7.4% to 4.64mt, while production of rolled products was more by 13% to 3.78mt.
In November alone, the plant produced about 350,000t of crude steel, 460,000t of pig iron and 360,000t of rolled products.
