Ilyich’s steel, pig iron output increases in January-July
Metinvest’s Ilyich steelworks increased crude steel production in January-July, Kallanish notes.
Output amounted to 2.48 million tonnes, up by 9.6% on-year. Pig iron production increased by 7.5% to 2.89mt, while production of rolled products was more by 16% to 2.32mt.
In July alone, the plant produced about 365,000t of crude steel, 465,000t of pig iron and 365,000t of rolled products.
