Ilyich’s steel, pig iron output increase in January-September
Metinvest’s Ilyich steelworks increased crude steel production in January-September, Kallanish notes.
Output amounted to 3.2 million tonnes, up by 6.9% on-year. Pig iron production increased by 7.2% to 3.78mt, while production of rolled products was more by 14.6% to 3mt.
In September alone, the plant produced about 350,000t of crude steel, 440,000t of pig iron and 350,000t of rolled products.
