Restructuring charge leaves Worthington with first-quarter loss
US flat-rolled service centre and fabricator Worthington Industries produced a loss for the quarter ended 31 August due primarily to restructuring charges, Kallanish understands.
Worthington lost $4.8 million on sales of $855.9m, including a one-time restructuring charge of $45.3m. In fiscal Q1 2019, the company earned $45.5m on sales of $842.2m.
