India certifies Sail to supply plate to Navy
Steel Authority of India (Sail)’s Bhilai Steel Plant has been certified by the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) to produce special shipbuilding grade plate for manufacturing Diving Support Vessels (DSVs). These are used by the Indian Navy. Plate thickness ranges from 8-45mm.
