India pre-Covid-19 return next fiscal, says Ind-Ra
India’s steel sector should recover gradually to pre-Covid-19 levels by the second half of the fiscal year through March 2022 (FY22), though large players could recover earlier, says India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra). The recent domestic market recovery, driven by the release of pent-up demand, meanwhile, will be sustained only by government reforms and stimulus to support the economy.
