Indian steel ministry to sign PLI agreements
The Indian steel ministry will sign memorandums of understanding with selected companies on 17 March for speciality steel production under the production-linked incentive (PLI) Scheme, the ministry informs in a note.
The steel ministry has selected a total of 67 applications, with an investment potential of INR 42,500 crore ($5.16 billion) under the PLI scheme for speciality steel (see Kallanish passim).
