India’s BMW Industries taps Tata for billet-to-rebar conversion
India-based BMW Industries (BMWIL) has signed an agreement with Tata Steel for the conversion of continuous cast billet into TMT rebar at its steel processing centre in Kolkata.
The agreement includes a price variation clause and will be in effect between Tata and BMWIL till 30 September 2025, Kallanish notes.
