Ex-India Prime Minister requests SAIL’s VISP closure reversal
Former Indian Prime Minister H D Devegowda has called on the government to reverse its decision to close Steel Authority of India (SAIL)’s Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant (VISP), Kallanish notes.
This comes after the privatisation of the Bhadravati-based unit was scrapped last October.
