India's Iron ore exports decline sharply in March
India’s iron ore exports including fines, lumps and pellets in March 2024 fell substantially by 53% on month to 3.28 million tonne, according to CYBEX data shared with Kallanish.
This marks the third consecutive month of decline, mainly due to reduced demand from China.
That country is the primary importer, which typically receives 85-90% of India's total iron ore exports.
