India’s May industrial production index grows
The Indian industrial output index grew 5.2% on-year in May, according to a National Statistical Office (NSO) report seen by Kallanish.
The industrial output index includes the mining, manufacturing, and electricity production indices. Manufacturing production, which accounts for 77.63% of total industrial output, grew 5.7% on-year in May.
