Interpipe’s steel output increases on-month in April
Ukrainian pipemaker Interpipe increased crude steel production in January-April to 283,000 tonnes, up by 3.9% on-year, Kallanish notes. This however represented a recovery from a 10.8% decline in January-March.
In April alone, the company produced 90,000t of steel, while in March it was 79,500t.
