Iran registers five-month steel output growth
Iranian finished and semi-finished steel output rose in the first five months of the Iranian year, between 21 March and 22 August 2023. Semis production alone increased by 2.9% on-year to 13.02 million tonnes, from 12.65mt in the same period last year, according to an Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) posting on its online Chilan portal.
