Iran steel output growth continues in October
Iran’s major steelmakers increased crude steel production by 8% and finished steel output by 4% on-year in the seven months through 21 October, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (Imidro).
Crude steel output in the period amounted to 13.16 million tonnes.
In the month through 21 October alone production amounted to 1.92mt of crude steel and 1.17mt of finished steel.
