Iranian slab shipments drive ten-month export growth
Iranian semi-finished and finished steel combined exports grew 9.1% on-year to 9.12 million tonnes in the first ten months of the Iranian calendar year, from 21 March 2023 to 20 January 2024. Higher slab exports and moderate growth in shipments of finished long products and semi-finished products drove the increase, Kallanish notes.
