Iran's eight-month iron, steel output grows marginally
Iranian semi-finished and finished steel output grew marginally in the first eight months of the Iranian year, or 21 March-21 November 2023, Kallanish notes.
Through 21 November, semi-finished and finished steel production increased on-year by 1.9% on-year to 21.62 million tonnes and by 0.8% to 14.87mt respectively. This is according to an Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) report on its online Chilan portal.
