TSE figures dispute Iran steel production growth

Major Iranian steel producers have reported lower production figures this year to the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), contrary to some reports that output there is increasing. In the five months through 22 August, the first five of Iran’s calendar year, Mobarakeh Steel reported 14.6% on-year lower steel output at 2.34 million tonnes, while Khouzestan Steel output fell 26.4% to 1.2mt.
