Seaborne iron ore prices rebounded on Monday on news that Hebei steel mills had limited production at sinter machines.
The Kallanish KORE 62% and 65% Fe indices increased by $2.7/tonne and $4.31/t respectively on Monday to $108.13/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $120.77/dmt cfr. Meanwhile, the KORE 58% Fe index rose by $1.38/t to $98.12/dmt cfr. 170,000 tonnes of PB fines were sold at $106.55/t with a laycan between 4-13 July.
