Iron ore, Chinese steel futures begin week strongly
Seaborne iron ore prices strengthened on Monday as Chinese steel futures continued their rally of the last seven days into the new week.
The Kallanish index for 62% Fe Australian fines increased by $1.59 to $54.37/dry metric ton cfr Qingdao. There was one fixed price trade on globalORE with 90,000 tonnes of Carajas fines selling at $59.75 for August delivery.
