Iron ore firms but remains in range

Seaborne iron ore prices firmed very slightly on Friday as futures prices ticked marginally upwards. Buying remained minimal however and there was little sign of anything that could drive prices higher. The Kallanish index for 62% Fe Australian fines gained $0.58/t to $53.30/dry metric ton cfr Qingdao.
