Iron ore fluctuates with less demand

Seaborne iron ore prices remained volatile on the first trading day of February, with weakening buying hitting market confidence. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index gained $0.88/t but fell $0.61/t respectively on Thursday to $133.51/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $145.89/dmt cfr.
