Iron ore gains further on demand outlook

Seaborne iron ore prices extended gains on Wednesday, with April demand raising hopes of a pick-up in the market.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $1.72/t on Wednesday to $125.01/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index rose $1.44/t at $140.76/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index reached $0.83/t higher at $115.02/dmt cfr. 90,000 tonnes of Mac fines were sold at $119.4/dmt with the laycan between 26 April …
