Iron ore price retreats
Seaborne iron ores prices fell again on Wednesday as post-holiday market sentiment once again appeared to dip. There was however increased activity on the globalORE trading platform.
The Kallanish index for 62% Fe Australian fines dropped again to $58.39/dry metric ton cfr Qingdao. There were three fixed price trades on globalORE. 80,000 tonnes of MNP fines traded at $58/tonne for June delivery, while 170,000t of Pilbara fines did likewise but priced at $60/t. 8…
