Iron ore slides as expectations dashed
Seaborne iron ore prices slipped again on Thursday amid widespread disappointment in China’s stimulus policies. A major meeting on Wednesday did not reveal enough to support markets.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index dropped $0.69/t to $130.95/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index fell $0.74/t to $154.93/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index inched $0.28/t higher to $19.61/dmt cfr.
