Isdemir, Linde JV commissions air separation plant
Isdemir Linde Gas, a joint venture between Turkish steelmaker Isdemir and Germany's Linde Group, has inaugurated the start of operations at its air separation plant at Isdemir's steelworks in Turkey.
The TRY 250 million ($96.4m) plant was installed in 12 months. It will supply up to 1,700 tonnes/day of oxygen and nitrogen to Isdemir, thus raising the steelmaker's oxygen production capacity by 60% and its nitrogen output capacity by 70%. The increased…
